Lorne Elliott

Hudsonite Lorne Elliott has performed his one-man show in theatres,
universities and clubs. He opened for Rodney Dangerfield in New York
City and Jay Leno in Montreal. He has made regular appearances at the
Montreal Just For Laughs Festival since it started in 1986: each time
his segments were selected for TV specials, thanks to their universal
quality. In Canada and the U.S. he has appeared on numerous talk shows
and variety shows. His work caught the attention of CBC Radio who aired one of his concert performances on "Definitely Not The Opera": it was greeted with such enthusiasm all across the country that it was rebroadcast on "Sunday Showcase" and "Morningside". "Madly Off in all Directions" was Lorne’s own CBC Radio Comedy Series, which was greeted with such enthusiastic audience response that the program went on for 11 seasons, till fall 2006. His latest project for CBC is titled “Chasing the Big Silly”.
