Message from the Summer Artistic Director Heather Markgraf
Dear Friends of Hudson Village Theatre,
If “all the world’s a stage” then we are starting a new Act at Hudson Village Theatre, and I have been asked to reprise my role of the first few scenes.
It’s great to be back at the artistic helm of Hudson Village Theatre and even better to welcome you to our 20th year as a professional English theatre company in Quebec.
It seems incredible that an idea I had twenty years ago has continued to grow, with many new initiatives planned for this coming year. I am very grateful for the many, many hours of work from volunteers, donations from friends and supporters and the many fund raising events which have helped produce this theatre and sustain it over the last 20 years.
I just want to assure you that the Board, the staff and I are planning a very exciting 2012 summer season with something for everyone, including live professional productions, comedy, music, films, opera and special events. I’m sure that the theatre will move from strength to strength, producing relevant, entertaining and thought provoking entertainment which meets the needs of our community. I encourage you to check the web site regularly to keep updated on our program.
I look forward to sharing the 20th anniversary celebrations with you, and I look forward to meeting you at the theatre this year.
