Welcome to Hudson Village Theatre

Coming next... The Graduate

Directed by Mary Vuorela

The play is set in 1960’s California. Benjamin Braddock has graduated with honours! His parent’s friends rally round to share in their son’s academic success. Benjamin is uncomfortable and retires to his room. Seductive older woman Mrs. Robinson, enters and opens up about her private life, exposes herself to him and offers to have an affair with him. What would you do?

This iconic movie was adapted for the stage in 2002 and was a huge hit in London and subsequently an extended run on Broadway. Both productions featured Kathleen Turner in the plum role of Mrs. Robinson.

In this production, some of our favorite actors have donated their considerable talent in this tale of self discovery and the pursuit of the things in life that really matter. The play is a truly compelling mix of comedy and pathos. At the end of the day, it is a great evening of theatre that you won’t want to miss.

Adult themes and very brief nudity.
